Bay Area artist SPELLLING, whose real name is Chrystia Cabral, has just dropped her latest album “Portrait of My Heart” today! This is her fourth album, and it’s out now through Sacred Bones Records. It’s got 11 tracks that are already getting fans excited.

SPELLLING is known for her wild, creative music that mixes pop with some out-there vibes. This time, she’s gone for a more direct and energetic sound. Songs like the title track “Portrait of My Heart” have a big, rocking feel with drums and lyrics about not fitting in. She’s shared three songs already—”Portrait of My Heart” back in January, “Destiny Arrives” earlier this week, and “Alibi” with some cool guitar from Turnstile’s Pat McCrory. They’ve all got people talking!

The album’s got some special guests, too. Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bear sings on “Mount Analogue,” and Zulu’s Braxton Marcellous adds some heavy vibes to “Drain.” SPELLLING worked with her band—Wyatt Overson on guitar, Patrick Shelley on drums, and Giulio Xavier Cetto on bass—to make the songs feel alive. She also teamed up with producers like Drew Vandenberg, Rob Bisel, and Psymun to shape the sound.
