Indie rock fans, get ready! Singer-songwriter Samia is dropping her third album, Bloodless, on April 25, 2025. This exciting release comes after her popular 2023 album Honey, and people are already talking about it. Samia’s known for her heartfelt lyrics and cool sound, and this new project promises more of that magic.
The first song from Bloodless, called “Bovine Excision,” is already out, and it’s got a spooky, twangy vibe that fans are loving. Samia says the song is inspired by weird stuff like mysterious cattle stories, but it’s really about figuring out who you are. The album was made with her buddies Caleb Wright and Jake Luppen, who helped bring her ideas to life. She also teamed up with songwriters Christian Lee Hutson and Raffaela for some of the tracks.
Samia’s calling Bloodless a journey about feeling empty sometimes but finding comfort in it. She recorded it in North Carolina and Minneapolis, mixing quiet folk tunes with big, dreamy pop sounds. The album’s got 13 songs, including titles like “Lizard,” “Fair Game,” and “North Poles,” which sound pretty intriguing!
