American singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile and legendary Canadian rocker Elton John have joined forces to release their highly anticipated collaborative album, Who Believes in Angels?.
The 10-track record, now available via Interscope Records, marks a stunning fusion of their distinct styles, blending Carlile’s raw, emotive vocals with John’s iconic piano-driven sound.
Produced by Andrew Watt and co-written with John’s longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin, the album was crafted in just 20 days at Sunset Sound Studios.
The title track, a soaring ballad, sets the tone with its introspective lyrics and lush instrumentation, reflecting on hope amid chaos. Standouts like “Never Too Late” and “Swing for the Fences” showcase their chemistry, while tracks like “The River Man” nod to classic soft rock. Fans on X are raving, calling it a “triumphant, soul-stirring masterpiece” from two musical titans.
